This summer, Swedish Match introduced a limited edition tin for Ettan loose (there’s also one for Grov loose as well). The tin is modeled after a classic design, and Swedish Match has stated that
The tin lid is back. Just like in 1967 which saw the introduction of the round snus tins with a metal lid. Until then snus had been sold in bland brown cardboard packets. Svenska Tobaks AB added a splash of colour and created a different design for each type. This summer sees the return of Ettan and Grov in their tins with the metal lid. Just like in 1967. A classic from the past meets the 21st century.
The tins are made of metal and fit snugly over top of your snus can, allowing you to re-use them on multiple cans. Personally I find the designs to look pretty classy and below you can find some photos I’ve taken of the special tins! I’m not sure how long they will be available for, so be sure to pick some up some limited edition cans if you’re a fan of Ettan! Expect an Ettan Loose review in the near future, but in the meantime check out my review of Ettan Portion which is quite similar in taste.
