Produced by Fiedler & Lundgren in Sweden, Lundgren’s Naturalig Mint Vit Portion is a fairly new addition to the Lundgrens snus lineup, and is supposed to be minty without tasting artificial. Natural Mint cans come with 0.9 grams of regular strength snus and 21,6 grams of tobacco per can.
After getting my can open, I was greeted with a strong aroma of fresh mint and not much else. The mint reminded me of fresh mint that you can buy in the grocery store and it was very nice. After I used a few portions, I noticed that Naturalig Mint is exactly as the name implies, natural mint. The taste was fresh and I could hardly detect any tobacco at all (even past the twenty minute mark). I also noticed that the mint flavor developed over time, becoming increasingly mellow yet still detectable. Some mint flavored snuses tend to become overly sweet as time progresses, but I didn’t find that to be the case with Lundgren’s Naturalig.
The portion material was very different than the typical design, -it was softer than regular material and gave off a richer taste (most likely due to the larger than usual perforations in the bags). I enjoyed the portions, but I did notice that they tend to leak somewhat (see my second picture on the right of the empty can) which may be a bit of a hassle if you’re on the go. I noticed a nicotine buzz set in rather quickly, and within a few minutes I began to feel a pleasant tingle set in.
As a whole, Lundgren’s Naturalig Mint combines a tasty natural mint flavor with an interesting portion design, and even though I’m not a fan of mint I liked how there wasn’t an overly sweet taste present like many mint snuses out there. If you’re a fan of mint or are looking for something new to try for a change, I recommend picking up a can of Naturalig. I really enjoyed having it as a refreshing after meal treat!
