Produced by Fiedler & Lundgren, Lucky Strike Strong White is part of the Lucky Strike lineup of snus. Lucky Strike White was the first brand of snus I ever tried, and as a lover of tobacco flavored snuses, so I was excited to finally give Strong White a go. Each portion of LSSW has 12mg of nicotine, classifying it as a strong snus.
Upon opening my can, I noticed a strong smell of tobacco and ammonia, with a very faint note of pepper. The tobacco smelled pretty full bodied and was quite dry. After placing a portion in my mouth, I immediately picked up a taste of tobacco and salt. After about ten minutes, I also picked up a slightly spicy taste which helped to compliment the tobacco. The tobacco flavor lasted for about fourty five minutes, and afterwards it began to become too salty for my tastes.
Unlike older Lucky Strike portions, these portions came nicely formed, and I was able to start using them with minimal adjustment. The portion material was of average quality, but being a white snus it produced very little drip until the hour mark. The nicotine buzz came on slowly (which I prefer), but after about ten minutes it was at full strength (compared to 2-5 with original portions) and I had a nice buzz going on. As someone who doesn’t usually get a kick from regular portion snus, Strong White had a nice buzz (If you’re looking for a quicker buzz but the same taste, I recommend trying Lucky Strike Strong instead).
Overall, Lucky Strike Strong White is something that I plan to keep in my daily rotation for quite some time. I recommend it to those looking for a strong (but slow to arrive) nicotine buzz, and it pairs quite well with coffee in the morning. In addition, I must say that the Lucky Strike cans are my favorite snus cans. I find that they are super classy, and I love the metal can material! style snus.
