Over the holiday season, I had the opportunity to try a different kind of dip that I’ve been wanting to try for a while now, Kayak Peach. I was excited about it because I love peaches and the only other peach style dip I’ve tried is Skoal Peach. The Kayak brand of dip is manufactured by Swisher.
Once I opened my can of Kayak Peach, I couldn’t believe how nice the dip smelled. Even my non dipping friends told me that it had a very pleasant aroma, like pure peach juice. I also couldn’t detect aromas from the tobacco itself. Once I put in a mid size dip, I immediately tasted a strong peach flavor. The peach taste was really smooth and not salty at all. It lasted for about fourty minutes before the flavor began to wear out.
Because Kayak Peach is a long cut, I didn’t find myself spitting very much, and the dip was very easy to keep in place for about fourty five minutes. The strands of tobacco were actually cut nice and coarse for a long cut, and I really enjoyed it. The nicotine strength was medium-weak, and out of a medium pinch I got a moderate buzz.
Overall, I was really surprised by the quality of Kayak Peach, especially for the price. The cut was nice and long, and I found it very easy to hold the dip in. The nicotine strength was moderate, but not as strong as brands such as Copenhagen. I find Kayak Peach tastes great after a tasty meal, or on a hot summer day. I’d also like to mention that I liked the can design. It was clean, a bit shiny, and bright orange, a cool touch for a great dip!
