Smaland’s Brukssnus Vit, a product by Skruf Snus AB, is a budget priced snus that doesn’t get discussed a lot, it seems. Which is a shame, because it’s surprisingly good. I say surprisingly because most budget snuses tend to sacrifice quality at the expense (no pun intended) of price. The flavor description says it has a “has a pure tobacco flavor“. The can weight is a little lighter than most other products, at 12g, but it does have 20 portions per can. The nicotine content is 10mg/g.
I really like the aroma of this one. It’s not as present as the original portion version of this snus, but it’s still pretty well balanced. The aroma of tobacco is apparent, but not as present as an original portion version, and it comes through with less apparent hints of oak. There is also a touch of floral notes. The portions are soft and feel great in the lip! They’re a little smaller than the average portion, only 0.6g by my math, but they don’t feel too light. The tobacco flavor is the most present component of the taste, but it’s less apparent than with an original portion. There is also a touch of oak in the background, and a touch of floral notes as well. It’s like it’s original portion big brother in taste, but with less presence. For those who don’t need a big flavor, you may like this one! The nicotine feels to be about the regular strength level, and the flavor lasts an impressive 55-65 minutes!
If you like tobacco centric flavors and want something with a less present flavor profile, check out Smaland’s Brukssnus Vit. It’s a solid product, and at a cheaper price!
